ABA Division for Public Education: Domestic Violence Outreach

Domestic Violence Outreach

In October 2001, “Breaking the Silence: Journeys of Hope,” a documentary on domestic violence, premiered on PBS stations across the country. Mary Kay Inc., together with the Mary Kay Ash Charitable Foundation, underwrote the documentary and has since joined with the ABA to support outreach on domestic violence to the legal community. Among the resources we have developed with Mary Kay are a videotape and facilitator's guide to the PBS program (see below).

This page offers links to materials developed for lawyers and judges by the ABA Division for Public Education and Commission on Domestic Violence, as well as links to other resources on domestic violence and the law.
