| The Division for Public Education provides national leadership for law-related and civic education efforts in the United States through programs and resources, and by fostering partnerships among bar associations, educational institutions, civic organizations and corporations. The National LRE Leadership Conference, which brings together leaders in the field and offers them valuable professional development opportunities, is one of the many ways that we accomplish this objective. For almost a quarter-century, this conference has had a profound and positive impact toward educating and informing youth and adults about law and the justice system so that they are better equipped to meet the challenge of civil and productive engagement in our democracy.
