    Mentee Sign-Up Sheet

Thank you for your interest in the National Association of Women Lawyers (NAWL) Mentor Program! NAWL’s mission is to foster the social and professional advancement of female attorneys by promoting the social, political and professional empowerment of women. The NAWL Mentor Program promotes NAWL’s mission by matching attorney mentors from a variety of legal fields and geographic locations with law student mentees. The goal and objective of the program is to empower women in law school with professional and social guidance.

As a mentee, you are expected to be committed to the program. Your mentor will contact you via email or other preferred method of communication at least once a month. If you can not commit to working with a mentor but would still like to be involved with NAWL, please contact the Mentor Program Committee and indicate the types of activities you are interested in volunteering for.

If you should have any questions or concerns please contact the NAWL Executive Director Rickie Jacobs at jacobsr@nawl.org or the Mentor Program Committee Recruiter, Caroline Morgan at carolineamorgan @yahoo.com For more information about the NAWL Mentor Program please visit our web site at www.nawl.org. Please not that space is limited and mentees will be assigned subject to availability. The deadline to sign up as a mentee is August 31, 2007.
