Carol A. Robles-Román
Carol A. Robles-Román is Deputy Mayor for Legal Affairs and Counsel to Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg. She counsels
the Mayor and the executive branch on legal policy issues including judicial selection, court administration, higher education,
ethics, anti-discrimination laws, domestic violence, and immigration. She also oversees several city agencies and implements
reform initiatives that positively impact the public’s access to justice and city services.
She holds leadership positions on several boards including the New York University School of Law Alumni Association;
the Board of Trustees of the City University of New York (CUNY); the Fordham University at Lincoln Center Board of Advisors;
and the Wildlife Conservation Society Board of Trustees.
She holds a Juris Doctorate from New York University School of Law where she was honored at graduation with the Vanderbilt
Medal for extraordinary contribution to the law school community, and received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Fordham
University at Lincoln Center. |
