Proceedings of the NABE IT Section Breakfast Meeting
February 9, 2006

1. Introduction of Attendees
Nineteen section members attended the first NABE IT section meeting held at
the NABE Midyear meeting in Chicago. Tom Edmonds, NABE President and Jill Werner, Staff Director of Association Management Services for the ABA were also in attendance.

2. Introduction of Council Members

3. Bylaws Committee Report
The bylaws and interim council members were approved by the NABE board of directors on Tuesday, February 7, 2006.

4. Nomination and Election of Officers
The following members were elected to serve as section officers

1. Chairperson – Toby Brown
2. Vice-Chairperson – Steven Dunn
3. Secretary – Bill Dickinso
4. Treasurer – Pat Yevics

5. Standing and Special Committees Formation
Three standing committees were formed:

1. Program Committee

2. David Simms
3. Lincoln Mead
4. Marc Mersol
5. Peggy Gruenke


2. Membership Committee

2. Toby Brown
3. Patricia Yevics

6. Other Council Actions

1. It was agreed that section dues would remain at $30.00
2. Lincoln Mead proposed a 3 section membership for $75.00 be brought
   before the NABE board
3. A goal of three IT sessions per meeting was established. One of each
   tailored to the following audiences:
1. Executive Director
2. IT staff (more technical)
3. Crossover (entire NABE membership)
