2008 Annual Meeting: New York, NY

Sponsorship Opportunities

Sponsor Exhibit Information
2008 Annual Meeting Highlights

Thank you for your interest in sponsoring the 2008 Annual Meeting of the National Association of Bar Executives (NABE), August 6-7, 2008 at the Sheraton New York in Midtown Manhattan. We will begin the week’s activities with our Welcome Reception on Tuesday evening, August 5, followed by two days of exciting plenary and workshop sessions scheduled on Wednesday, August 6 and Thursday, August 7.

The NABE Annual Meeting offers educational sessions, networking opportunities and leadership development for NABE members and for sponsors. NABE’s Annual Meeting coincides with the annual meetings of the National Conference of Bar Presidents, the National Conference of Bar Foundations, as well as the American Bar Association.

OVERVIEW

NABE sponsorship levels are as follows: Gold @ $10,000; Silver @ $5,000; Bronze @ $3,000.

As a reminder, NABE Annual Meetings bring together 200 to 300 executive directors and their senior staff representing national, state, and local bar associations from around the United States. Their bar associations comprise as few as a few hundred members to as many as over 200,000. Collectively, NABE members have access to more than 1.2 million judges and practicing attorneys in the United States. They can also help you to get your message to their constituents (e.g., board officers, members, bar staff). To view last year’s line-up, consult this PDF of the 2007 meeting program.

To confirm your sponsorship, simply complete and return the following:

NABE Sponsor Contract
A/V Equipment Needs form
The registration and housing form
Your company’s check indicating your chosen level of sponsorship payable to “National Association of Bar Executives” (see this page for details)

You may mail all contents to my attention using the information in the signature of this message. You may also submit the contract, A/V needs, and registration/housing forms via fax to 312-988-5492, and send checks using a track-able method (e.g., USPS, UPS, FedEx, etc.). Sponsors are asked to confirm their sponsorship by submitting all items above no later than Friday, May 2, 2008.

REGISTRATION AND HOUSING

Sponsors must pay the mandatory $115 affiliate registration charge. However, the $250 NABE meeting registration fee is waived. Badges, meeting materials, and event tickets will be available at the NABE/NCBP/NCBF Registration Desk on site. Included in your sponsorship packet will be complimentary tickets to the following events: breakfast and lunch on Wednesday, the Wednesday Night Party, and breakfast on Thursday. You also are invited to attend the Tuesday Welcome Reception on August 5.

Housing at the conference hotel will be accommodated on a first-come, first served basis. Be sure to note your housing needs and provide credit card information to guarantee your guest rooms.

EVENT ASSIGNMENTS

After May 2, NABE will finalize major event assignments. After accommodating Platinum level contractual arrangements, Gold sponsor event assignments will be made based upon history of NABE sponsorship. Silver sponsor assignments will follow, and will also allow for sponsor preferences based on history of sponsorship and events that are still available. Sponsors that have historically been assigned a specific event will be offered the first right of refusal for that event at the 2008 Annual Meeting. Final event assignments are expected to be completed by the end of the month of May.
