Naoko Fujii is taking a sabbatical from Pfizer, Inc. to serve as the Executive Director of an AIDS charity that will be building a state of the art AIDS hospital in Uganda to train doctors from all over Africa.
Rena Van Tine is a new associate judge for the Circuit Court of Cook County. Rena is believed to be the U.S.' first woman of South Asian descent to become a judge.
Elias J. Escobedo, Jr. is the new president of the Oakland County Bar Association.
