Congratulations to Lauren G. Robinson on her election to partnership at Schiff Hardin & Waite in Chicago.

Tsuenemasa Terai has relocated from Cleary Gottlieb Steen and Hamilton's office in New York to the Tokyo office.

Carol Ross-Burnett, former NALP Liaison to the Commission, will be resigning her position as Assistant Dean for Career Services and Multicultural Affairs at Loyola Law School in Los Angeles effective January 12, 2001. Dean Ross-Burnett will remain with the Law School on a part-time consulting basis for six months and will be expanding her diversity consulting practice. Milton A. Marquis has joined the Washington Office of Jenner & Block as a partner. Milton joined Jenner & Block from the Antitrust Division of the U.S. Department of Justice, where he served as Senior Counsel to the Assistant Attorney General.

Jean Marie Reyes Pechette is leaving Sidley & Austin in Chicago and becoming Associate General Counsel of GE Medical Systems Information Technologies.

Veta Richardson is the new Executive Director of the Minority Corporate Counsel Association in Washington, D.C.

Anand Agneshwar is a new partner at Arnold & Porter in the New York office. Congratulations!

Kalyn Free successfully prosecuted a double homicide case, the first domestic violence murder ever prosecuted in Haskell County, OK, where she is the District Attorney. The defendant was sentenced to life without parole. Kalyn was also honored as one of the top 50 women in Okalhoma in September.

Congratulations to Roger Gregory on his recess appointment by President Bill Clinton to the 4th Circuit Court of Appeals.

We're happy to report that Jorge A. Gomez was elected to the partnership of Michael Best & Friedrich in Milwaukee. Congratulations!
