Mr. Soden is a fellow of the Boston and American Bar Foundations, a trustee of the Social Law Library and an Overseer of the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court Historical Society. He is past president of the Boston Bar and the Massachusetts Black Lawyers Associationa. He is a member of the American Bar Association’s House of Delegates, its Commission on Lawyers Assistance Programs and is former chairman of the Standing Committee on Bar Services and Activities. He is also a former chairman of the Steering Committee of the Boston Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law.
