According to The National Law Journal,
Mr. Garcia won one of the largest jury verdicts in the country
and the largest in Pennsylvania in 2002 in a federal antitrust
case involving the electronic article surveillance industry.
He also has handled numerous other cases involving hundreds
of millions of dollars each, including avoidance claims in the
third largest bankruptcy case in history; defense of claims
by the FDIC and shareholders regarding the failure of a savings
and loan association; recovery of fraudulent transfers pursuant
to a leveraged buy-out in the hotel industry; claims for theft
of proprietary information regarding deregulated energy markets;
and other major cases involving nuclear submarines, telecommunications,
insurance and construction projects, among many others. In addition,
he has handled hundreds of personal injury cases for both plaintiffs
and defendants. Mr. Garcia is rated "AV" by the Martindale
Hubbell Directories, and has been selected as "International
Legal Professional of the Year 2004" by IBC of Cambridge,
England and "Pennsylvania Super Lawyer" by Philadelphia
