Prior to joining Gardner Carton & Douglas, Mr. Berrones served as an Assistant State’s Attorney in Lake County, Illinois where he tried a substantial number of jury and bench trials to verdict. Mr. Berrones has served on the board of a not-for-profit organization which retrains unemployed and underemployed individuals and teaches them the language skills necessary to enter the work force. He is active in pro bono work and has received recognition for his pro bono services.
