Midyear Meeting 2008

Miami, FL February 7-13, 2007

Welcome

Welcome to the American Bar Association 2007 Midyear Meeting. This year’s meeting will be held February 7-13, in sunny Miami, Florida.

The Midyear Meeting brings together more than 3,000 lawyers and their families. While the Midyear Meeting does not match that of the Annual Meeting, the volume of business that occurs does. In addition to the House of Delegates convening at the Midyear Meeting to review recommendations submitted by various entities of the Association, some Section and Association committees also meet to review the business of their groups. The Midyear Meeting hosts the Nominating Committee of the House of Delegates, which nominates the Association’s Officers and members of the Board of Governors. The Fellows of the American Bar Foundation hold their Annual Meeting during the ABA’s Midyear Meeting.

There is no registration fee for the Midyear Meeting. Attendees can register for the Midyear Meeting several different ways: online, by fax, by mail, or on-site at the Miami Hyatt Regency. The deadline for advance registration is January 5, 2007.

Exclusive airfare discounts are now available through the ABA Online Travel website. While on ABA Online Travel you can automatically obtain ABA negotiated airfare discounts for Travel to the Midyear Meeting. ABA Online Travel also provides you with the ability to search for, compare and price airline reservations from airline and other travel websites, enabling you to get the best airfare at the time of your reservation.
