Those are some of the words of wisdom from Richard Ferguson and Catherine Sanders Reach in their presentation prepared for the Pacific Legal Technology Conference in Vancouver, British Columbia.
Their presentation, “Working from the Whistler Cabin: Remote Access Technologies,” also encourages would-be remote access workers to start with a plan when buying the products they need. Gadgetry abounds, say Ferguson and Sanders Reach. The only limits on what you can take along are based on cost and weight considerations: how much to spend and whether you can tote all of that technology to your location.
The co-authors also outline various types of storage devices, discuss capabilities of smartphones and PDAs, and offer a healthy reminder about cords and cables.
