Center for Professional Responsibility offers ethics opinions online
The Center for Professional Responsibility has recently decided to post new formal ethics opinions on the ABA Web site, with complimentary access by ABA members for a period of one year from release. The opinions are available from the ethics opinions informational page.
The Center also offers a service for lawyers and other legal professionals, including law students and law clerks, who need help in resolving ethics questions. The service, ETHICSearch, is staffed by lawyers experienced in legal ethics research, who provide citations to relevant ABA rules, opinions and other ethics resources. Most searches are free of charge and can be handled on a same-day basis. More information is available on the ETHICSearch home page.
