Theme for September: Constitution Day 2007
Help Your Neighbors Discover How Well They Know the Constitution

When your bar association is asked to participate in a community activity — a pancake breakfast, a street festival or a school fair — do you wonder how or what to communicate about the law?

A series of interactive quizzes on the Constitution will let you help your neighbors test their knowledge. The series has five interactive tests. The first four look at the Supreme Court, Constitution facts, the rights of young people under the Constitution and what the three branches of government do. The fifth test lets people compare their results through a poll by Harris Interactive with others who answered these same questions in July 2005.

Setting up the quiz is simple - you need only a laptop with an internet connection. Go to www.abanet.org/publiced/conversations/constitution/
test_intro.html
and you are ready to begin letting members of your community test their knowledge.

You have something to offer that is informative and unique. And, the quizzes can encourage discussions on the Constitution. For more information on supporting discussions, please visit www.abanet.org/publiced/conversations/constitution/about.html.

The following is a news release to use announcing your bar's participation in a community event.
