It's an election year. Do you know who your judicial candidates are? More important, do you know how your judges are selected?

When it comes to attracting attention, judicial campaigns often run a distant third to campaigns for other elected positions. Yet judges make decisions that impact the lives of each of us. They represent the rule of law in our country by setting the tone for our courts.

To help voters make their voting decision, the ________ Bar Association will publish an evaluation of judicial candidates, rating them as highly qualified, qualified or not recommended.

Watch for these ratings and use them along with your own information in making your choice.

Our judges and our courts deserve your attention.
