The Law Student Division is the national forum for law students across
the country. Established in 1968, the Division strives to further the
purposes and goals of the American Bar Association, particularly to
promote full and equal participation in the profession by minorities
and women; to represent law students in the Association and to represent
the Association to law students; to help shape the policies and priorities
that affect legal education; and to create a deliberative forum for
the exchange and expression of law student views and a voice to advocate
those views.
Today, the Division represents more than 50,000 law students across
the country from 188 ABA-approved law schools and is dedicated to give
you a variety of valuable services and products, custom designed to
meet your needs. From award winning publications that offer insights,
advice and the latest news on the legal profession to a variety of networking
opportunities that help you build contacts and make the most of your
legal education. Check out the sections, divisions and forums, networking
opportunities, valuable discounts and services, comprehensive publications,
