Career Fair, Other Events to Highlight 'Lavender Law'

Law students are invited to "Lavender Law," the annual conference of the National Lesbian and Gay Law Association (NLGLA) and the National Lesbian and Gay Law Foundation (NLGLF). It will take place Oct. 17-19 at Fordham University School of Law in New York City. More than 500 practicing lawyers and law professors and 200 law students are expected to attend.

The conference will include sessions on legal issues affecting the gay and lesbian community. In addition, a career fair will enable participants to network and seek jobs as lawyers, summer associates, and interns with employers nationwide.

In addition to Fordham, law school cosponsors of Lavender Law 2003 include Brooklyn Law School, Columbia University School of Law, Hofstra University School of Law, New York Law School, and New York University School of Law.
