You Can Be a National Student Director
February 2000 Vol. 28, No. 7

The Law Student Division is looking for volunteers to take charge of the Negotiation, Client Counseling, and National Appellate Advocacy competitions, as well as the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program for the 2000-01 academic year.

As a national student director, you will have an opportunity to spearhead national programming for the ABA/LSD, with more than 180 schools and 40,000 members nationwide. In addition, you will travel to competition and program sites and work with outstanding students, faculty, and practitioners.

The deadline for applications for the 2000-2001 academic year is March 15. Applicants must submit an application form (see back page of this issue) as well as a résumé and a brief personal statement. Directors will be chosen in the spring.
