Business Law Writers Can Win $2,500

The American Bar Association's Section of Business Law is again sponsoring the Mendes Hershman Student Writing Contest. Deans of all ABA-accredited law schools are invited to nominate a paper on a business law topic for the section's 1998/1999 writing contest.

Whether or not they were published in a law review or legal journal, papers must have been written during the 1997/1998 or current academic year. Entries must be received by Feb. 12, 1999. The first-prize winner will receive $2,500 and an all-expenses-paid trip to the section's Spring Meeting in San Francisco. Call the section at 312/988-5627 for a copy of the official contest rules.
