Congratulations!  Your efforts in August 2008 helped recruit 3,500 new members to the ABA’s Law Student Division. And your hard work continues to pay off—We are on track to have a record-setting September!

Winner of August Airline Gift Certificate Contest
Congratulations to ABA Rep Andrew Gordon of St. Thomas University School of Law in Florida for being the winner of our August contest. Andrew’s name was picked out of a bowl with all the names of those reps that got 10 or more new members to join by August 31st. Please Note that results of the bonus contest which ended September 10th are currently being tabulated.  The gift cards will be sent to eligible qualifying Reps in the next two weeks.

If you haven’t already done so, be sure to send an e-mail to reprewards@abanet.org describing your fall term recruitment activity.  Be sure to include your name, street address (no PO boxes), phone number, and school and we’ll send you a $25 American Express gift card. Please note:  You must be the official ABA Representative at your school to be eligible for this gift card. Please allow 3-4 weeks for processing.

3-Year dues offer completed September 10th
Thank you for your help in rolling out the special limited-time 3-year dues offer.  Please note that the deadline for taking advantage of this discount has passed.  Be sure to discard any of the special yellow enrollment forms promoting this offer that you may still have.

FYI:  ABA continues to work with West to boost recruitment
The third wave in our joint recruitment campaign with West was sent on September 22nd to approximately 15,000 students at ABA-accredited schools who are not currently ABA members.  These students were offered 250 WestLawRewards points for joining the ABA.  Eligible students have until October 1st to take advantage of the offer.
