ABA Law Student Division
ABA Representatives
Welcome
ABA Representatives:
I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to the ABA. If you are a first time Rep, we will have a lot to learn together, but it will be rewarding. If you are a returning Rep, I look forward to working with you during the coming school year and learning from your experiences. I am excited to work with all of you.
Fall recruitment has been a success thus far thanks to the enthusiasm and energy of our ABA Representatives. More than just a representative, you are a leader in your law school and indeed your Circuit. You will be the face of the ABA at your law school and in many cases the face of our initiatives and programming. Please explore the website and take a look at our programs. As Representatives, we hope you will considering sponsoring one or more of the ABA on-campus programs such as Diversity Day, Work-A-Day Community Service and Mental Health Day. These programs not only help your school with recruiting, but will also help ehance the legal education experience for law students at your school.
Please take advantage of the resources regarding these initiatives and other programs offered by the ABA by visiting the ABA website at www.abanet.org. I have an open door policy and am happy to answer any questions or concerns you have at any time. I am here for you. For your convenience, I invite you to use the “Ask Galen” box located further down on this page.
I look forward to hearing from you and I wish you luck throughout this semester.
