NOTE: Membership dues are not deductible as a charitable contribution for income tax purposes but may be deductible in part as a business expense. The ABA estimates that 2.5% of your total membership dues are allocable to lobbying activities of the Association, and therefore are not deductible for income tax purposes as ordinary and necessary business expenses. We suggest that you save this communication for your tax advisor. Admittance to the Bar renders an applicant ineligible for law student membership. Please provide all information requested. All rates are effective until August 31, 2008. Application valid through August 31, 2008.

Law Student Membership dues include $2.75 for a basic annual subscription to ABA Journal and $9.50 for a basic annual subscription to Student Lawyer Magazine. These amounts are not deductible from the dues.
