National Appellate Advocacy Competitions

2009 NAAC Regional Location Selection Form

Regional Location Selection Form

The ABA Law Student Division has identified the six regional locations for the 2008-09 National Appellate Advocacy Competition.

In order to distribute the participating teams equally among the six regional competitions, participating law schools may rank their regional location preferences by November 7. The Law Student Division will make every effort to honor each school’s first or second choice, with preference given to schools based on geographic proximity to their preferred location. The Division reserves the right to assign teams to the third choice, if it best suits the needs of the competition.

Each school will receive official notification by November 21, 2008 of its regional assignment. Schools that requested the option to send a third team will learn at that time whether their request was granted. Payment for third teams must ARRIVE at the ABA by December 1, 2008.

Participants should NOT make travel plans until they have received their official regional assignment from the ABA Law Student Division.
