A Message from Your Circuit Governor

Dear 9th Circuit Law Student,

I am pleased to announce your 2009-2010 9th Circuit Lt. Governor's & Student Ambassadors. Please visit the link above to find out more about each of them, their respective positions, and feel free to get in touch with these students with any questions or concerns you may have.

We're currently meeting and making preliminary decisions regarding the 2009 Fall Leadership Summit, the 2010 Spring Circuit Meeting, as well as the wonderful initiatives and programs the 2009-2010 Governor's are going to implement. We would certainly welcome your input! Please contact me if you have any suggestions as to locations/dates, etc. If your school is interested in hosting the 2010 9th Circuit Leadership Conference, please contact Lt. Governor of Programming, Jake Soberal.

Also, be on the lookout for ways that you and your school can get involved! Don't forget, the ABA Law Student Division rewards (and awards) student organizations and student leaders for hosting worthwhile events throughout the academic year. Now is your chance to get involved and get recognized!

Be sure to check your inbox for the Summer 2009 Circuit Newsletter, which will get you well on your way to thinking about this upcoming academic year. Following this, Lt. Governor of Circuit Relations, Jean-Lauren Pouliot, will be publishing a Circuit Newsletter every month. Be sure to contact Jean if your organization or school is hosting an interesting event, or has accomplished something that you want to celebrate with the rest of the 9th Circuit! Student articles for submission to the Circuit Newsletter are always welcome. Once again, just contact Jean.

Finally, the Student Lawyer Magazine is always looking for interesting updates from 9th Circuit law schools. Please contact Lt. Governor of External Communications, Aaron Goben to submit a news clip/update/article about your school, and get NATIONAL RECOGNITION for your school! Don't forget to check out the "spotlight" feature in the Magazine, and nominate an extraordinary student that you know. Simply contact Aaron.

Best,

Ruby Banipal
