WHAT'S NEW

  • 2009-2010 Division Election: SBA Presidents and ABA Representatives from each ABA-approved law school, who are in attendance at the 2009 ABA Annual Meeting, will elect the Division's three Delegates to the ABA House of Delegates. SBA Presidents will elect the Division's Division Vice Chair-Student Bar Associations. The nominations deadline for these positions was June 1. The deadline for graduates to obtain extended health insurance coverage was May 15, 2009. The 2009-2010 Health Insurance information will be posted in the near future.

Health Insurance Coverage for Law School Graduates (Underwritten by UnitedHealthcare Student Resources)
The ABA Law Student Division health insurance plan with UnitedHealthcare Student Resources (UHCSR) offers a health insurance coverage extension for up to one year from the student’s graduation date PROVIDED the student is currently carrying this plan AND there is no break (lapse) in coverage between the date of graduation and the first day of this one-year extension.
