John Osborn, President and CEO, BBDO, New York, NY
John joined BBDO in 1991. Over the years, he has demonstrated that he is an energetic, positive and passionate leader with a proven ability to build strong client relationships and to lead big multi-disciplinary teams in the creation of powerful communication programs. For example, he has been actively involved with many of the agency’s clients including FedEx, GE, Sony, Lowe’s, Monster and Mars. He began his BBDO career on Pepsi and was the principal architect of the agency’s integrated marketing efforts, expanding the agency’s service offerings to include digital marketing, direct, CRM, custom-publishing and more. He was named President and CEO of the New York agency in February 2004. In January 2006, BBDO was named “Agency of the Year” by all of the leading trade publications (Ad Age, Adweek and Campaign). And this past year, it was named “Creative Agency of the Year” by Shoot magazine and business-to-business “Large Agency of the Year” by BtoB magazine. Among John’s notable accomplishments was his involvement with the “New York Miracle” campaign, which helped lift spirits of New Yorkers in the wake of the September 11 attacks. In addition, John has lent his talents to other important causes. He is President of the Board of Directors of the Police Athletic League of New York, and also serves on the Boards of the American Advertising Federation (AAF), the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation, the New York Chapter of the American Association of Advertising Agencies (4A’s) and the Dartmouth College Alumni Club of New York City. He’s an active supporter of New York University’s Child Studies Center as well as Big Brothers/Big Sisters, for whom he has served as a mentor to Cory Collins for eleven years. In recognition of his accomplishments, in 2003, John was inducted into the AAF Hall of Achievement, which honors people 40 years of age or under for their contributions to business. He has also been named to the Crain’s New York Business list of “40 under 40” as well as BtoB magazine’s “Who’s Who in BtoB.” In 2006, John was named a “Young Global Leader” by the World Economic Forum. John earned his BA at Dartmouth, is married to Lesley and is the proud father of a 4 year-old daughter (Caroline) and a 3 year-old son (John Jr.).
David Lat, Founding Editor, Above the Law, New York, NY
David Lat is the founding editor of Above the Law, an award-winning blog about law firms and the legal profession that receives over 10 million pageviews per month. He founded Underneath Their Robes, a blog about federal judges, and served as editor of Wonkette, the widely read politics blog. His writing has also appeared in the New York Times, the New York Observer, Portfolio, New York magazine, and Washingtonian magazine. Before entering the media world, David worked as a federal prosecutor in Newark, New Jersey; a litigation associate at Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz, in New York; and a law clerk to the Honorable Diarmuid F. O'Scannlain, of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. David graduated from Harvard College and Yale Law School.

David S. Antzis, Managing Partner, Saul Ewing, Philadelphia, PA
David Antzis is Managing Partner of Saul Ewing LLP. As Managing Partner, Mr. Antzis is the Firm's Chief Executive Officer, overseeing the Firm's strategic planning, client relations and business development, and directing related activities, through its nine offices in Pennsylvania, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Delaware, and the District of Columbia. He assumed the Managing Partner position after having chaired the Firm's Business Department, which doubled in size in four years under his leadership.
Mr. Antzis' practice includes a broad range of general business and securities legal services including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, financings, real estate investment trusts, public and private securities work, and general business matters. He represents a wide range of both public and privately held companies, including software developers, convenience store chains, real estate investment trusts, investment advisors, advertising agencies and manufacturers serving the chemicals, industrial products, medical instruments and shipping industries, among others.
Mr. Antzis earned his J.D.(cum laude) from The University of Pennsylvania School of Law and his B.A. (with highest honors) from Brown University. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Philadelphia Bar Association.

Christine Baker is currently in-house litigation counsel for Realogy Corporation and its subsidiaries. Realogy is the world’s leading provider of real estate services; its subsidiaries license various well-known brands such as Better Homes & Gardens®, Century 21®, Coldwell Banker®, ERA® and Sotheby’s®. Ms. Baker manages intellectual property and commercial litigation across the United States and Canada, and oversees regulatory compliance.
Prior to joining Realogy Corp. in 2007, Ms. Baker practiced law with Drinker Biddle & Reath in Princeton, New Jersey for 17 years, most recently as a commercial litigation partner specializing in real estate and land use disputes. For 10 years, she also served as pro bono outside General Counsel for a non-profit organization that provides community/legal services to women and children in need. In that capacity, she handled litigation, licensing and regulatory compliance, land use issues, and governmental affairs.
Ms. Baker served as Chair of the American Bar Association Women Rainmakers for two years. She has also served on the American Bar Association’s House of Delegates, on the New Jersey State Bar Association’s Board of Trustees (3 terms), on the New Jersey Women Lawyers Association’s Board of Directors (2 terms), and on the Board of Directors of New Jersey Lawyer, Inc. In addition, she has served as a Special Investigator for N.J.’s Office of Attorney Ethics and as a Mediator for the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. She currently serves on the Board of Directors of CASA of Mercer County, Inc., as Vice-President and Chair of the Diversity Committee.
She earned her J.D. from Rutgers School of Law in 1991, and her B.A. from Rutgers College in 1988. She is admitted to the state and federal bars of New Jersey and Pennsylvania, as well as the Third Circuit and U.S. Supreme Court. She was named Young Lawyer of the Year in 1999 and as one of NJ’s Best 50 Women in Business in 2006.
Bonnie Allyn Barnett, Partner, Drinker Biddle, Philadelphia, PA
Bonnie Allyn Barnett is chair of Drinker Biddle’s Environmental Practice Group and a Managing Partner of the firm. Bonnie has an active litigation practice and counsels clients on regulatory compliance issues and the environmental implications of a diverse range of business and real estate transactions.
Bonnie litigates a variety of environmental matters, from large, multiparty cleanup and toxic tort cases to contractual disputes, permit appeals and government enforcement actions. She counsels clients on all things “green” – especially in the area of “green” marketing, recycling and sustainability. She assists clients in structuring business transactions to allocate risks and costs of environmental exposure, and she focuses on Brownfields projects, helping clients redevelop environmentally sensitive property.
Bonnie received a B.A. degree in political science, summa cum laude, from Temple University. She received her law degree, summa cum laude, from Temple University School of Law, where she was the articles editor of the Law Review. Prior to joining Drinker Biddle, Bonnie clerked for the Hon. James T. Giles of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Bonnie helped to establish the Delaware Valley Environmental Inn of Court, was co-chair of the Environmental Law Committee of the Philadelphia Bar Association and has lectured frequently on environmental and sustainability issues.
Christine V. Bonavita, Partner, Blank Rome, Philadelphia, PA
Christine V. Bonavita is a partner with Mitts Milavec LLC in Philadelphia and represents management with regard to labor and employment matters. Christine has extensive experience providing companies and not-for-profit entities with training, counseling and litigation avoidance strategies related to reductions in force, the WARN Act, discrimination and harassment, employee termination and discipline, wage and hour compliance and the administration of personnel policies. Christine's experience also includes defending private and public sector employers with respect to the Americans with Disabilities Act, Title VII, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Family Medical Leave Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, and the National Labor Relations Act. She also represents management in collective bargaining negotiations and labor arbitrations.
Prior to joining Mitts Milavec, Ms. Bonavita was a partner in Blank Rome LLP's Phildadelphia and New Jersey offices and a member of the firm's Employment, Benefits and Labor Practice Group. She has authored several articles and has presented on a variety of topics regarding the FMLA, FLSA, the WARN Act and applicable state laws.
Ms. Bonavita earned her J.D. in 1996 from Villanova University School of Law. In 1993 she earned her B.A. in American Studies, summa cum laude, from Skidmore College. She is admitted to the bars of the State of New Jersey and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Sarah E. Bouchard, Partner, Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, Philadelphia, PA
Sarah E. Bouchard is a partner in Morgan Lewis's Philadelphia office in the Labor and Employment Practice and co-leader of the Sarbanes-Oxley subpractice. She focuses her practice on single-plaintiff, multi-plaintiff, and complex employment litigation, and Sarbanes-Oxley-related litigation. Ms. Bouchard has led the defense of class and collective actions involving wage and hour and discrimination issues. She advises clients with respect to compliance with the FLSA and state wage and hour laws, and she has conducted numerous internal audits and investigations.
Ms. Bouchard's publications on labor and employment law include articles in the Villanova Law Review and the Texas Review of Litigation. Ms. Bouchard is also a member of the 2009 Employment Law360 editorial advisory board.
Ms. Bouchard earned her J.D. from Villanova University School of Law in 1995. She received her B.A., Phi Beta Kappa, from Pennsylvania State University in 1992. Micah U. Buchdahl, Elect, ABA Law Practice Management Section, Moorestown, NJ
Micah Buchdahl is an attorney focused on assisting law firms with business development initiatives. He is Chair of the American Bar Association’s Law Practice Management Section, and creator of the ABA Law Firm Marketing Strategies Conference. Micah is a faculty member of the Pennsylvania Bar Institute, where he has taught law marketing ethics courses annually for more than a decade. Arlene Fickler is a founding partner of Hoyle, Fickler, Herschel, & Mathes LLP in Philadelphia. Her practice concentrates in complex commercial litigation, including products liability, toxic tort, and consumer protection class actions. Prior to joining Hoyle in 1985, she was a partner with Schnader, Harrison, Segal & Lewis in Philadelphia. Patricia M. Hamill is a Shareholder and Member of the Executive Leadership Committee in Philadelphia’s Conrad O’Brien PC, which is ranked as one of the top litigation firms in Pennsylvania by Chambers USA 2009. Over the last 20 years, Patricia has represented many of the country’s largest insurers, Fortune 500 companies, and corporate executives and employees in the defense of complex commercial matters, including class actions, securities fraud cases, insurance bad faith claims, RICO actions and business disputes, employment litigation, directors’ and officers’ liability actions, and breach of contract suits. Andrea S. Hartley, Shareholder, Akerman Senterfitt, Miami, FL
Andrea Stone Hartley is a shareholder in the Miami office of Akerman Senterfitt. With more than 400 attorneys, Akerman Senterfitt has been a fixture in the State of Florida since 1920.
Ms. Hartley's practice is focused on the areas of insolvency and reorganization. She has extensive experience in bankruptcy reorganizations, debt restructuring, workouts, business liquidations, and creditors’ rights. Her clients include lenders, secured and unsecured creditors, Chapter 11 debtors, acquirers of bankrupt assets, creditors' committees and bankruptcy trustees.
Ms. Hartley is Chair-Elect of the Law Practice Management Section of the American Bar Association. Further, she is the Chair of the Nominating Committee and is a past Chair of the ABA Women Rainmakers and the Strategy and Planning Committee of the Law Practice Management Section. Reynolds Holding, Esq., Producer, ABC News, New York, NY
Reynolds Holding is a national editorial producer for ABC News in New York. He works with the Law & Justice Unit, which produces the major legal stories for World News, Nightline, Good Morning America and other network news programs. Before joining ABC in 2007, Mr. Holding covered the law for Time magazine as a senior writer in New York. He was the executive editor of Legal Affairs magazine and worked for 13 years as an investigative reporter and legal columnist for the San Francisco Chronicle, where, in 1999, he was named a Pulitzer Prize finalist in explanatory writing for a series of stories on the dangers of unsafe syringes and other medical devices. Before becoming a journalist, Mr. Holding practiced law with the New York firm of Debevoise & Plimpton. He earned his J.D. in 1982 from Duke University School of Law, where he was a member of the Duke Law Journal editorial board, and his A.B from Harvard College.

Heather D. Jefferson, Esq. The Delaware Counsel Group, LLP, Wilmington, DE
Heather D. Jefferson combines a Delaware corporate and alternative business entities practice with experience in business development, client service and law firm operations. She works directly with the firm’s national and international client base.
Ms. Jefferson is responsible for the strategic planning, development and identification of client-related enhancement activities. This includes everything from client intake and billing, to matter management, retention and expansion issues. As part of the client service process, Ms. Jefferson visits with clients to gain feedback and develop new projects based on industry and market trends.
A 1995 graduate of Widener University School of Law, Ms. Jefferson clerked for the Honorable William T. Quillen of the Superior Court of Delaware. While in law school, she served as a judicial extern for the Honorable E. Norman Veasey, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Delaware.
An active American Bar Association member, Ms. Jefferson is active in the Section of Business Law. She was one of five young lawyers to participate in the Section’s Business Law Fellows Program. As an appointed Fellow, Ms. Jefferson was appointed to the Venture Capital and Private Equity Committee, responsible for various substantive assignments, and assigned a mentor who is in Section leadership. In addition, she is active in the Section’s Partnerships and Unincorporated Business Organizations Committee. Ms. Jefferson is a former Chair the ABA Women Rainmakers, served on the Law Practice Management Section’s governing Council and was a member of the Section’s Nominating Committee.
Ms. Jefferson was recently appointed by the Delaware Supreme Court to serve as an Associate Trustee of the Lawyers’ Fund for Client Protection of the Bar of Delaware. As an Associate Trustee, Ms. Jefferson participates in the investigations of claims by individuals who have suffered financial losses as a result of the dishonest conduct of lawyers. The fund is created by the Delaware Supreme Court to provide monetary relief such individuals.

Jim King serves as in-house counsel for the Rotorcraft Systems Division of The Boeing Company in Ridley Township, Pennsylvania.
