Law Practice Benchmark
Management software takes center stage.
The BTI Consulting Group's most recent survey of Law Practice Today readers indicates that nearly 37 percent of firms are implementing new software as their top technology priority this year. Remote access tools, at 26.3 percent, take the number- two priority spot. Several software applications in particular are on the rise in firms, including matter management, document management, litigation management and CRM solutions. "These ready-made management solutions help law firms streamline time-consuming tasks and processes, increasing the firm's bottom line and boosting performance," explains Marcie L. Borgal, a principal of BTI. "By leveraging the capabilities of a software tool, firms position themselves to deliver on clients' most-pressing needs."
