Litigation Institute for Trial Training: Program Information


Registration Fees

Fees cover program materials, breakfasts, coffee breaks, and admission to the reception on Thursday. Members of the Association and the Section pay significantly reduced fees as a benefit of membership.

Not a member of the ABA?

You can enroll in the ABA and the Section of Litigation at the same time.



CLE

13.33 hours of MCLE credit, including .75 hours of ethics credit, have been requested in 60-minute states, and 16 hours of MCLE credit, including .90 hours of ethics credit, have been requested in a 50-minute states.


Accreditation has been requested for this program from every state with mandatory continuing legal education requirements for attorneys. Please be aware that each state has its own rules and regulations, including its definition of CLE. Certificates of Attendance will be available at the conclusion of the program for both attendees and speakers. Please call the ABA Section of Litigation at (312) 988-6714 two to three weeks prior to the seminar for questions pertaining to the number of credit hours requested.



Cancellation Policy

Requests for refunds must be made in writing and received no later than Monday, June 29, 2009, in the ABA Section of Litigation office. Please fax or email your request to Lesley Roselle at (312) 988-6234. There will be a $50 administrative fee deducted from the refund. Cancellations received after June 29, 2009 will not be refunded; however, the Section will gladly accept substitutions for those unable to attend.



Hotel Information

The ABA room block is at the Palmer House Hilton located about 2 blocks from where the program is being held at DePaul University. Please make your hotel reservations at the Palmer House by Wednesday, June 17, 2009 to secure the discounted rate of $169 single/double occupancy (excluding 15.4 % tax). To make reservations, please call the hotel at (312) 726-7500 or central reservations at (877) 865-5321 and refer to the 2009 Institute for Trial Training.
