Call for Submissions
We are looking for authors to contribute articles for publication in Verdict. These articles should normally be between five and 10 pages in length, double spaced, and written for those who try cases as an advocate or preside over trials as a judge. We are seeking articles that provide practical advice, not scholarly articles with a lot of footnotes. A wide range of subjects are acceptable for articles, as long as they relate to some aspect of trying a case (e.g., effective use of experts, examination techniques, best practices when picking a juror or making an argument, dealing with non-documentary evidence, etc.) Articles should be the original work of the author or authors and not subject to any copyright. The ABA requires all contributors to sign a Publication Agreement. Contact our newsletter editorsfor more information.
