Message from the Chairs

We have been having such an exciting 2007–08 bar year and there is more to come. Besides our most recent issue of our newsletter on eDiscovery, numerous additions to our website, and Section Annual Conference CLE program and substantive breakfast meeting, the materials of which are available on our website, we are in the midst of planning another Breakfast Meeting program for the ABA Annual Meeting in New York.

Our program, Tech Tips for the Mobile Litigator – Getting Things Done When You're Away from the Office, will feature a series of easy, practical tips, that make use of your existing portable devices, such as your laptops and PDAs, connecting to the office, handling emergencies while out of the office and using downtime wisely. It promises to be a very useful program for everyone.

We hope all of you can join us at the Breakfast Meeting program. In addition, although there are already many committee members working on our various projects, we are also always looking for articles and brief stories about your use of technology in litigation to post on our website or include in our newsletter. If you are interested in submitting a written piece, please contact one of our website editors or newsletter editors.
