2010 International Human Rights Award
CALL FOR NOMINATIONS
Deadline: March 19, 2010
The International Human Rights Award recognizes those who have made extraordinary contributions to the cause of human rights, the rule of law, and the promotion of access to justice. This award is presented during the ABA Annual Meeting in August. Award recipients must be nominated and meet certain Selection Criteria.
The recipient of the 2009 International Human Rights Award was Edwin Rekosh, founder and Executive Director of the Public Interest Law Institute (PILI), an international NGO that advances human rights around the world by stimulating public interest legal advocacy and developing the institutions necessary to sustain it. We invite you to learn more about Edwin Rekosh and past award recipients.
