Message from the Chairs
Hello and welcome to your ABA Energy Litigation Committee website. Here you will find articles of interest to energy litigators, hot news in energy litigation, useful links to other websites and resources, and summaries of key recent energy cases across the country. We will be continually updating our website throughout the year with this and other content relevant to your practice.
The Energy Litigation Committee provides members a great way to make and sustain contacts with other attorneys sharing the same professional interests. We are actively recruiting new members, as well as new leaders. Our goal is for this Committee to become a leading resource for the energy litigator. We are seeking your input, suggestions and collaboration on making this committee as relevant as possible for you.
Get involved in the committee—it’s easier than you think!
Let us know who you are. If you want to find a way to become involved on
a subcommittee, by suggesting an article or program topic or by joining the inaugural
Energy Litigation Print/Web Editorial Board, drop an email to Marty
Truss. Current subcommittees include Newsletter, Programs,
Website, Membership, Young Lawyers and Special Events. The committee is
always looking for short articles, case notes, book reviews or other content
relevant to our many members nationwide.
There are a lot of exciting things coming up for the Energy Litigation Committee in the next year, from our Qui Tam/Whistleblower Program at the Section Annual Conference in Washington, D.C. in April 2008 to the first ever Energy Litigation Print/Web Editorial Board.
We hope to see many of you at the Litigation Section Annual Meeting in Washington D.C. in April and again in August at the ABA Annual in New York.
