GET INVOLVED: Seeking State Editors for 50-State Condemnation Law Compilation Project
The laws and procedures for condemnation cases vary widely by jurisdiction. There does not appear to be any compilation by jurisdiction of condemnation law. Because our Committee has members practicing in each of the 50 states, we are currently working on compilation of a brief overview of law and procedure related to eminent domain for each state. We are working to have not only a brief outline specific to each state, but also provide reference to recent cases for each state. If you are interested in serving as the website editor for your state, contact Committee Chair Jill Gelineau.
