Our committee primarily addresses developments in case law and legislation as they affect antitrust and trade regulation civil and criminal litigation. The committee explores and analyzes substantive antitrust issues with respect to government and private litigation. The committee also explores litigation techniques for handling problems peculiar to complex antitrust litigation and to antitrust grand jury practice.
On April 22, 2008, the United States Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit issued its long-awaited decision in the Rambus matter. The Court of Appeals ruled that the FTC failed to sustain its allegation of monopolization.
