One of the Association's highest priorities is ABA Goal VIII: "To Advance the Rule of Law in the World." As part of the Executive Director's Office, the ILO seeks to pursue the mandate of Goal VIII by promoting the exchange of ideas and information with our colleagues in the legal profession around the world. ILO's primary purpose is to serve as a first point of contact for foreign and international bar associations, law societies, and individual lawyers.
