Regulatory Scheme: Under Pennsylvania Rule 7.4, a lawyer who has been certified by an organization approved by the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania may communicate that fact as long as the communication is not false or misleading. Organizations are recommended to the Supreme Court for approval by the Pennsylvania Bar Association, for a period of not longer than five years and may be renewed upon recommendation of the Pennsylvania Bar Association.
