Regulatory Scheme: The new Nevada Rules of Professional Conduct allow a lawyer to communicate specialty certification if they are certified by an organization approved by the Bar's Board of Governors. Under the Governing Rules for Attorney Specialization, all organizations accredited by the ABA to certify specialists, are approved by the Bar's Board of Governors. Lawyers must register with the Bar and pay an annual fee.
