Annual Meeting of Access to Justice Commissions
2009 National Meeting of State Access to Justice Chairs
SAVE THE DATE! Saturday, May 16, 2009. The eighth Annual National Meeting of State Access to Justice Chairs will take place in conjunction with the 2009 Equal Justice Conference in Orlando, Florida.
Invitations to the meeting are sent to the Chairs of state Access to Justice Commissions or similar entities or state bar committees with a broad charge of promoting access to justice for low-income people. In states with no formal Access to Justice structure, invitations are sent to bar and bench leaders whose volunteer roles are most closely related to the Access to Justice mission.
Over 120 bench and bar leaders from 40 states and the District of Columbia attended the seventh annual National Meeting of State Access to Justice Chairs in Minneapolis on May 9, 2008.
