The Pro Bono Coordinator is housed in and financially supported by the Virginia State Bar (VBA). The director reports to the deputy executive director of the bar and also staffs the VSB Special Committee on Access to Legal Services. The coordinator promotes and facilitates volunteer pro bono legal services for the poor through presentations and meetings; identifies technical assistance needs; and designs plans, materials and systems to fit those needs.
