The North Dakota Volunteer Lawyers Program (VLP) is housed in the state bar and is funded by IOLTA. The Pro Bono Coordinator reports to the state bar executive director who is also the secretary-treasurer of the bar foundation which grants IOLTA funds. The VLP maintains a voluntary reporting system for collection of pro bono hours. The VLP recruits, trains, refers cases, and sponsor awards.
