Hawaii Lawyers Care (HLC) is a private, non-profit organization established in 1981 by the Young Lawyers Division of the Hawaii State Bar Association. The Hawaii State Bar Association, along with private financial support, launched the Neighborhood Legal Clinics in 1993 which has been cosponsored by the Legal Aid Society of Hawaii since 1995. The clinics offer pro se divorce and bankruptcy clinics, and advice and consultation sessions on O'ahu, Maui and Kaua'i.
