The Pro Bono Project is housed in the State Bar of Georgia and its director reports to the Georgia Legal Services Corporation Program Executive Director. The director also staffs the Access to Justice Committee and Children and the Courts Committee of the State Bar. The project offers various forms of assistance to members of the public who need to know what volunteer programs operate in their geographic location. It also assists lawyers who want to know more about volunteer opportunities. The primary focus of the project's work is service to programs which refer low income Georgians with legal problems to volunteer attorneys.
