Christian Legal Society is a student group committed to Christian fellowship and community service. Throughout the year, we do monthly barbeques, weekly Bible studies, and daily prayer. We also invite guest speakers to come and address our group on various topics, and do several service projects, including a food and clothing drive at the law school.

The Environmental Law Society is a law student organization dedicated to promoting awareness of environmental law issues on campus and in the community at large. Our mission is to promote environmental legal career development, practice, and scholarship; and to provide opportunities for advocacy of environmental issues. We aim to influence the law, public policy, and the policies of Willamette University in the interest of promoting ecological sustainability and environmental justice.

The J. Reuben Clark Law Society is an international legal organization comprised of attorneys and judges who are committed to ethical lawyering. The Mission Statement of the Student Chapter is parallel to the mission statement of the Law Society: “We affirm the strength brought to the study of law by a student's personal religious conviction. We strive through public service and professional excellence to promote fairness and virtue founded upon the rule of the law."

Multicultural Law Students Association—Sponsors Minority Law Day targeting high school students and freshmen and sophomores in college, presenting a symposium of special interest to ethnic minorities. Topics have included civil rights, Native American fishing rights, and Japanese internment.

Phi Alpha Delta—Fundraising drives for local charities and for the statewide Campaign for Equal Justice.

Street Law provides law student volunteers the chance to increase legal knowledge, as well as develop new perspectives on that knowledge. Student volunteers use a national curriculum to teach practical lessons about law to local high school students. The lessons encourage participation and positive youth development. In preparing and delivering the lessons, student volunteers improve their communication, substantive knowledge, and analytical ability. Street Law fosters community involvement by offering student volunteers opportunities ranging from one afternoon to regular participation throughout the semester.

Willamette Lambda Legal Organization promotes the awareness of, and appreciation for, gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender issues within the context of the law and to provide a forum for the discussion of those issues. We aim to support one another, educate those around us, and celebrate diversity.

Willamette Students for Civil Liberties—Arranges speaker events about civil liberties issues and hosts movie nights centered on films with civil liberties themes. Hosts public events on civil liberties issues, e.g. Banned Books Week.

Willamette University Public Interest Law Project—Raise funds for student fellowships in public interest organizations.

Women's Law Caucus has two events each year that focus on domestic violence. The first one occurs in October, which is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. The group brings in speakers that range from prosecutors who work with victims to victim's assistance people to people who work at women's shelters. Last year, we had an attorney from the Marion County DA and a speaker from the Mid Valley Women's Crisis shelter. The second event occurs in February, where the WLC has a "necessities drive" for a local women's shelter. Last year we had a weeklong drive for the Mid Valley Women's Crises shelter and we were able to bring almost a carload of items to the shelter.
