Description: The Capital University Law School
Paralegal/Legal Nurse Consultant Program is a post-baccalaureate
certificate program. It is a paralegal program that is part of
an ABA-accredited law school and is also endorsed by a major metro
bar assocaition. The Paralegal Program is a one-year, post-baccalaureate
certificate program. It is also offered in an intensive, full-time
summer day format. In addition to offering the part-time paralegal
program for 30 years, we now have a post-baccalaureate Legal Nurse
Consultant Program, which includes a Life Care Planner track,
that are offered in monthly modules bridged by interactive distance
learning.

Description: Approved by the American Bar Association, Kent State University's Kent Campus offers a Bachelor of Arts degree in Paralegal Studies. Students also have the option to minor in Paralegal Studies in conjunction with a four-year baccalaureate degree (Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science). Paralegal Studies is an interdisciplinary program in the College of Arts and Sciences and is conducted in the Department of Justice Studies. The programs combine a liberal arts/general education background with law related specialty courses to provide the graduate with communication skills, knowledge of the legal system, and practical hands-on-experience. The Paralegal Studies program at Kent State University is designed to educate prospective paralegals in all areas of law. Description: The Paralegal Program (formerly known
as Legal Assisting Program) at Sinclair Community College began
in 1978. In 1990, the program became the first ABA-approved program
in the Dayton area. Four full-time and six part-time attorneys
teach all substantive law courses, with graduate paralegals as
team teachers. Day and evening classes are offered, with several
available on the web. Through the use of hands-on activities and
current legal software, students develop critical thinking and
technology skills in a fictitious law office environment.

Description: UT's Paralegal Studies Program is an ABA-approved
program in Northwest Ohio. Legal courses are taught in UT's state-of-the-art
Mock Trial Courtroom. The program's Mock Trial Teams are ten-time
national champions. An internship provides students with exceptional
hands-on experience. Students can choose one of several avenues:
an AS or BS in Paralegal Studies, a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate,
or a Nurse Paralegal Certificate. The Bachelor paralegal degree
is an excellent pre-law track, providing guaranteed admission
