Description: Johnson County Community College is located in Overland
Park, KS, a suburb of Kansas City. The ABA approved paralegal
rpgoram was started in 1977 and the ABA approved Legal Nurse Consultant
program was started in 1998. Faculty members are attorneys or
paralegals. The Director is an attorney and has been associated
with the College for approx. 20 yrs. Both the LNC and Paralegal
programs are selective admission programs. The JCCC library has
legal materials, both in print and electronic format. Among the
extensive student services are Admission and Academic Counseling;
Financial Aid; Student Housing Association; Student Government;
Internships; Alumni Association; and Placement Assistance.
