Description: Miami Dade College's Legal Assistant Program is an "ABA Approved" A.S. Degree program that offers excellent learning opportunities in the classroom and beyond -- students excel in mock trial exercises, willingly serve as mentors to at-risk youth, and embrace community service opportunities through Lambda Epsilon Chi National Paralegal Honor Society. The Legal Assistant Program also prepares students to obtain entry-level employment in law offices, government agencies, and bank or business corporations. It enables persons working in the field without a degree to upgrade their skills to become a qualified paralegal.
