Description: The Legal Education Institute was established in
1990, by Widener University Law Center to provide excellence in
paraprofressional legal education. Our close affiliation with
the School of Law affords access to its vast resources including
the law library, advanced legal technology, and diverse clinical
and internship opportunities. Our faculty's diverse experiences
further enhance the excellence of the Institute's academic programs.
Our full- and part-time programs lead to an Associate, Bachelor
or Certificate in Paralegal Studies or a Legal Nurse Consultant
Certificate. These programs incorporate career advising, practical
skills training and legal knowledge to launch our students into
rewarding careers.
