MAINE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM FOR LAWYERS AND JUDGES
The Maine Assistance Program for Lawyers and Judges (MAP) seeks Director to further develop and operate this five year old program. MAP addresses the issues of lawyer or judge impairment from the effects of chemical dependency or mental conditions that result from disease, disorder, trauma, or other infirmity that impair the ability of a lawyer or judge to practice or serve. Position requires experience or training in alcohol and chemical dependency, intervention, mental health issues and an understanding of or experience with 12 step programs and employee assistance programs. Licensed attorney with practice experience and a minimum of five consecutive years of recovery and knowledge of the Maine Bar preferred. EOE. Salary commensurate with experience.
