Occupational Safety and Health Law Committee

Midwinter Meeting
Loews Ventana Canyon Resort
Tucson, Arizona
March 4-9, 2008

Dear Colleague:

The Midwinter Meeting of the ABA Occupational Safety and Health Law Committee will be held at the Loews Ventana Canyon Resort in Tucson, Arizona from March 4 through March 7, 2008.

We are looking forward to a very successful program. Based on the successful meeting last year in Naples, we have developed an expanded agenda, offering sessions on a wide variety of topics. We intend the program to appeal to practitioners, state and federal officials, scholars, and other policymakers.

The program will begin with our welcome reception at the resort on Tuesday, March 4, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. The general sessions will be on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. See enclosed Agenda for complete program details.

We will host a First-Time Attendee Breakfast on Wednesday, March 5 at 7:00 am. We invite all registered spouses and guests to attend the Guest Breakfast on Wednesday, March 5 from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. We have also arranged for a special reception on Wednesday evening.

The Workers' Compensation Committee Midwinter Meeting will begin on Wednesday, March 5, also at the Loews Ventana Canyon Resort. The Workers' Compensation Committee sessions will be held concurrently with the OSH Law Committee's program, with a joint session held on Thursday morning. All Occupational Safety and Health Law Committee Midwinter Meeting registrants may attend any session of the Workers' Compensation Committee without paying an additional registration fee.

Information on optional tours and activities will be sent to meeting registrants in December.
